What is proven effective is to precisely study your activities during the whole day. If your work will require you much energy in the morning, like for example, you will have to drive to work or ride the tram, then you will need a full diet without making you lethargic.

A combination of fruits, oatmeal, meat and bread, with a cup of coffee can boost your energy in the mornings, as your body needs carbohydrates, fats and fibers to keep you going. Drinking coffee or tea with caffeine is healthy up to three cups. More than three cups can destroy your healthy neurons, and prevent your creative juices from working. Some people can tolerate more than three cups, but this is extraordinary.

Lunch, opt to eat fruits, one cup of carbohydrates, it can be a macaroni salad, fish or meat. If you are into taking exams or would need to do some thinking, substitute your first plate with veggies, and request for a fish meat and don’t forget to eat your fruits first. The sugar from fruits and the enzymes are more effective if they are
eaten ahead of protein and other minerals.

Mid-afternoon snack. Choose to eat fruits or high fibre snacks, or non-fat dairy snack, like yoghurt. This will keep you alert through the last stretch in the afternoon.

Finally, dinner, avoid heavy alcoholic drinks, as the sugar content will keep you awake all night and surely will give you a dreadful hangover, and your body will turn ravenously hungry, because you didn’t have the chance to repair your body tissues! Keep your dinner light, and avoid heavy carbohydrates. Now if you are really going to a party, it is best to be wise, eat ahead of time, and be picky on what you eat, you can do this elegantly without getting notice.
